Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026

Start: 21st

Finish: 12th

Josh Berry, behind the wheel of the No. 21 Würth Ford Mustang Dark Horse, navigated his way through two multi-car incidents to secure a 12th-place finish in Sunday’s YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Berry started Sunday’s race from the 21st position and immediately showed promising speed while working his way through traffic. He surged to the front of the field, taking the lead on Lap 8 and holding the top spot for six laps before settling into a relatively safe position toward the rear of the pack.

The No. 21 Würth Mustang made its first trip down pit road midway through Stage 1 before Berry went on to finish the opening 98-lap segment in 23rd.

During Stage 2, Berry successfully avoided a multi-car incident on the backstretch and pitted under the ensuing caution period before closing out the 45-lap segment in 14th.

In the third and final stage, Berry worked his way back into the top 10 with just over 30 laps remaining in the scheduled 188-lap event. He was running just outside the top 20 when a multi-car incident unfolded directly in front of him.

Despite sustaining significant damage in the incident, Berry was able to continue and remain on the lead lap. When the field took the green flag for the two-lap overtime finish, Berry lined up 14th and gained two positions to take the checkered flag in 12th. The result marked his 12th finish of 12th or better this season.

Berry and the Wood Brothers Racing team now turn their attention to the organization’s home track, Martinsville Speedway, for next Sunday’s Xfinity 500, the penultimate race of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.
