As the oldest of Glenn and Bernece Wood’s children, Eddie Wood grew up in the race shop, learning the sport from the ground up. In his early years, he handled paint and bodywork on the team’s famed Ford and Mercury machines before becoming a chassis specialist. As the sport evolved, Eddie – along with his siblings – transitioned into leadership roles, helping guide the team through decades of competition and change. Today, he oversees the organization’s business operations and strategic initiatives, continuing the family tradition of steady, hands-on leadership.
