ABOUTJOSH
Josh Berry enters his second season with Wood Brothers Racing in 2026, continuing his role as the driver of the legendary No. 21 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the NASCAR Cup Series. The Hendersonville, Tennessee, native delivered an impressive debut year with the team in 2025, highlighted by his first career Cup Series victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – achieved in only his fifth start with the No. 21 team. Berry’s win added to the storied history of NASCAR’s oldest active race team and marked an early milestone in his tenure with Wood Brothers Racing.
Berry’s path to the Cup Series began at age eight when he climbed into his first go-kart. Success in Legend Cars on local short tracks soon followed and later transitioned into virtual racing, where his talent caught the attention of Dale Earnhardt Jr. That connection led to a career-shaping opportunity with JR Motorsports. Berry flourished in Late Model competition, earning the 2017 CARS Tour championship, the 2019 Valley Star Credit Union 300 victory at Martinsville Speedway, and the 2020 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series national title.
Berry moved into the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series with JR Motorsports and quickly made his mark, scoring his first series win in 2021 in just his 13th career start. He went on to add four more victories and established himself as a perennial contender before graduating to the NASCAR Cup Series with Stewart-Haas Racing in 2024. After one season in the No. 4 car, Berry joined Wood Brothers Racing for 2025 and is now focused on elevating the No. 21 team in his sophomore campaign in NASCAR’s premier series.
Away from the racetrack, Berry lives in Davidson, North Carolina, with his wife, Ginny, and their daughters, Mackenzie and Charlotte.

ABOUTMILES
Miles Stanley serves as crew chief for the iconic No. 21 Ford Mustang Dark Horse at Wood Brothers Racing, bringing a deep technical background and extensive experience across multiple levels of the NASCAR Cup Series to the role. A longtime member of the Team Penske organization, Stanley joined the Wood Brothers ahead of the 2025 season following more than a decade of engineering experience within Team Penske’s NASCAR program.
A native of Akron, Ohio, Stanley previously served as race engineer for Joey Logano’s No. 22 team from 2013–19, playing a key role in 21 race wins and the team’s 2018 Cup Series championship. Following the 2019 season, Stanley transitioned to the No. 12 team with Ryan Blaney, where the duo consistently contended for race wins and extended Blaney’s streak of consecutive seasons with a victory and playoff appearance.
Stanley earned his first opportunity as a Cup Series crew chief in 2021, leading Team Penske’s part-time No. 33 entry with Austin Cindric. He later moved into the role of performance engineering manager, where he contributed to multiple Cup Series championships.
In his first season as a full-time Cup Series crew chief, Stanley and driver Josh Berry earned their first victory together with an impressive performance at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, just their fifth race as a pairing, securing a berth in the 2025 Cup Series Playoffs.
Stanley attended the University of Akron, where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering in 2007. He began his professional racing career in open-wheel competition with Polestar Racing Group in the Champ Car Atlantic Series, serving as both an engineer and crew chief. In 2009, he transitioned to stock car racing with Robby Gordon Motorsports, working as a race engineer and later as a crew chief for the team’s part-time Cup Series effort. Stanley joined BK Racing in 2012 as head of racetrack engineering, overseeing the engineering programs for the No. 83 and No. 93 Cup Series teams before joining the Team Penske organization in 2013.
